THE LAST SHOW

There comes a moment when the lights go out, the audience disappears, and all that remains is silence.

I’ve always been fascinated by the figure of the clown. We expect them to make us laugh, yet behind the painted smile there is often loneliness, exhaustion, and a quiet sadness that no one notices.

This sculpture isn’t really about a clown. It’s about all of us. About the masks we wear to hide our fears, our disappointments, and the parts of ourselves we believe no one wants to see.

Perhaps the hardest performance in life is pretending we’re fine.
